Sometimes healing asks us to move forward. Sometimes it asks us to change direction. Sometimes, it asks us to become quiet for a while.

If you have followed LiveMindfuLee through the years, you already know that this community has taken more than one form. What began as a brick-and-mortar healing center eventually transitioned into an online resource and advocacy program. And now, after another season of tremendous change, LiveMindfuLee is entering its third chapter: a blog and online learning center devoted to healing, creativity, faith, personal growth, and hope.

This transition has taken longer than I expected. In fact, this summer was unusually quiet here. But that silence had a story behind it.

A Summer of Silence

This summer became a season of illness, healing, personal growth, family, and reflection.

After closing my physical office, stepping away from fundraising, experiencing health complications, and navigating some major changes in my personal life, I found myself having to reconsider not only what LiveMindfuLee would become, but what I was realistically able to give to it.

For a long time, so much of this work was centered around doing.

Creating programs. Maintaining a physical space. Raising funds. Finding resources. Advocating. Planning. Organizing. Trying to figure out how to help one more person, fund one more project, or solve one more problem.

Then life became very quiet. And in that quiet, I had time to ask a different question: What can I still offer this community? Not what I used to offer. Not what I wish I still had the resources to offer. Not what I thought LiveMindfuLee was supposed to become. But what can I offer now, in this season of my life, with what I have learned and with the gifts, experiences, and resources still available to me?

The answer surprised me because, in many ways, it brought me back to the simplest reason LiveMindfuLee existed in the first place:

To remind people that healing is possible and that they do not have to stop growing simply because their lives did not unfold the way they expected.

When the Mission Stays but the Method Changes

Closing an office does not mean the mission has to disappear. Stopping fundraising does not mean I have nothing left to give. And experiencing my own difficult season does not disqualify me from encouraging someone else through theirs. If anything, this season has reminded me that healing is rarely a straight line.

There are seasons when we have the strength to build. There are seasons when we have the strength to serve. There are seasons when all we can do is survive. And there are seasons when we begin to emerge from the darkness carrying lessons we didn’t have before. LiveMindfuLee is emerging again, too. This time it will be different, but it will still serve the same intention.

Welcome to the New LiveMindfuLee

Over the coming months, the LiveMindfuLee website will be getting a makeover to reflect this new chapter.

Rather than returning to the structure of a physical healing center or continuing to focus on fundraising and programming in the ways I once did, LiveMindfuLee will become a growing collection of blogs, educational resources, creative materials, and online learning opportunities that can be accessed throughout the year.

This format gives me the ability to continue contributing to this community while honoring the realities of my health, my family, and the changes that have taken place in my life.

More importantly, it allows LiveMindfuLee to become something people can return to whenever they need it.

You might come here because you are actively working through a difficult chapter. You might be rebuilding after trauma or loss. You might be learning how to love yourself again. You might be exploring faith, creativity, forgiveness, mindfulness, boundaries, purpose, or personal growth. Or maybe you simply need to hear from someone who has also had plans fall apart, started over more than once, and discovered that a changed life can still be a meaningful one.

There will be something here for you.

I Am Still on the Journey, Too

One thing I want to be especially intentional about in this new chapter is honesty. I am not writing from the finish line. I am still healing. I am still learning. I am still growing. I am still figuring out what some chapters of my own story mean. And perhaps that is exactly what I have to offer.

LiveMindfuLee does not need to be a place where someone stands at the front of the room pretending to have every answer. Instead, I want it to be a place where we can acknowledge that healing is a journey, and where the things I learn along mine can become encouragement, inspiration, education, or perhaps simply companionship for someone traveling through theirs. My experiences have taught me things I never would have chosen to learn. If sharing some of those lessons makes another person’s road a little less lonely, then those lessons can still serve a purpose.

Healing Can Change Shape

I used to think continuing this mission meant finding a way to recreate what existed before. Now I understand that sometimes we aren’t supposed to rebuild the exact thing we lost. Sometimes we are supposed to build something new with what remains. So this isn’t a reopening. It isn’t an attempt to recreate the old LiveMindfuLee. It is an evolution. The brick-and-mortar healing center had its season. The resource and advocacy program had its season.

And now begins another.

A quieter one, perhaps.

A more creative one.

A more sustainable one.

And, I hope, a deeply meaningful one.

Through articles, learning materials, personal reflections, creative resources, and conversations about healing and growth, I will continue sharing what I can throughout the year.

You will be invited to participate in your own healing journey while finding inspiration in mine, not because our stories are identical, but because sometimes witnessing another person continue to grow reminds us that we can continue growing, too.

Here’s to the Third Chapter

If this summer taught me anything, it is that silence does not always mean nothing is happening. Sometimes roots are growing where nobody can see them. Sometimes priorities are changing. Sometimes a person is healing. Sometimes God is working in places we haven’t learned how to recognize yet. And sometimes what feels like an ending is quietly making room for something entirely different.

So, after a summer of silence, I am ready to begin sharing again. Not exactly as I did before. Not from the same place I once stood. But with gratitude for everything this community has been, honesty about where I am today, and hope for what LiveMindfuLee can still become.

If you are beginning again, rebuilding something, learning to live differently, or simply trying to find hope in a season you never expected to experience, I hope you will stay.

There is more to come.

Welcome to the new LiveMindfuLee.

Healing. Learning. Creating. Growing.

And beginning again.
