The Church is Blooming Again! and so are YOU, Sister.

The Church Is Blooming Again, And So Are You, Sister! 🌸✨

There’s a revival happening, and it’s not just in the pews it’s in hearts, homes, and creative spaces where women like you are rising up with faith, fire, and purpose. Just like the first-century church, today’s movement is marked by boldness, hospitality, and Spirit-led transformation. And guess what? Women were central to the first revival and we’re central now, too.

💒 Revival Then & Now: A Holy Glow-Up

The early church wasn’t built in cathedrals it bloomed in living rooms, marketplaces, and riversides. It was raw, Spirit-filled, and radically inclusive. Today’s revival echoes that same heartbeat:

First-Century Church 💫Modern Revival 💖
House churches & open-air gatheringsWorship nights, online ministries, coffee shop Bible studies
Miracles, healings, and bold preachingDeliverance, prophetic art, and Holy Spirit encounters
Women like Lydia, Priscilla, and Junia leading quietly but powerfullyWomen leading worship, writing devotionals, hosting podcasts, and mentoring others

👑 Meet Lydia: The First European Convert & Church Mama

Lydia was a boss babe of her time an independent businesswoman dealing in luxury purple cloth, head of her household, and spiritually hungry. When she met Paul by the river (Acts 16:14), her heart opened to Jesus, and her home became one of the first churches in Europe.

She didn’t preach from a pulpit, but her hospitality, leadership, and generosity helped shape the early church. Lydia reminds us that you don’t need a title to have impact you just need obedience and a willing heart.

💕 You Belong in the Church, Beautiful

Whether you’re a painter, podcaster, prayer warrior, or Pinterest queen, there’s room for you in this revival. God is calling His daughters to:

  • Speak life through creativity and encouragement
  • Host sacred spaces online or IRL for healing and discipleship
  • Lead with love in ministry, motherhood, and mission
  • Embrace your spiritual gifts prophecy, teaching, hospitality, wisdom

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be present. The same Spirit that filled Lydia’s home is filling yours. 💗

🌸 Your Revival Ritual

Here’s a sweet way to step into your calling this week:

  1. Light a candle and pray, “Lord, show me where I belong in Your church.”
  2. Read Acts 16 and journal what stands out.
  3. Create something an affirmation card, a prayer post, a worship playlist.
  4. Share it with one woman who needs encouragement.
  5. Ask God to multiply your small offering into kingdom impact.

Encouragement 💌

Sis, you were born for such a time as this. The church is blooming again, and your voice, your art, your story it matters. Just like Lydia, you’re part of something sacred. So rise up, take your place, and let your light shine. The revival isn’t coming it’s here, and it looks a lot like you. 💕

Stay Safe Sis,

I’m Brittney

I am a 36-year-old survivor, artist, writer, and advocate who has walked through some of life’s darkest valleys and emerged with a radiant, unshakeable faith. Having endured childhood sexual trauma, decades of domestic violence, temporary paralysis, a coma, memory loss, and the heartbreaking loss of custody of my children as the result. I have had to rebuild my life piece by piece, hand in hand with the Lord. I have had to trust Him to protect, heal and reunite my family. I have had to trust Him to put me back together and turn my trauma into a testimony that honors Him and helps women who are where I have been. Now a two-time cancer and heart failure survivor, I use my story to illuminate hope for others, reminding women that God is still a God of miracles, restoration, and new beginnings. Through my blog, I combine faith, creativity, and lived experience to uplift survivors of abuse, helping them rediscover gratitude, reclaim their identity, and step boldly into the healing God has promised.
