While typing and editing this Bible Study I decided to use NIV and NASB versions. If you used my previous journal “Renewing your Mind for Success” then you will be familiar with these versions. If not, you can feel confident at any stage of christianity that you will be able to understand these versions. They are considered the most “direct” and “literal” translations in meaning from the originals. I love to use these in my personal studies as parallel to other versions and in my experience as a minister my community agrees.
This PDF will include an introduction, bible verses, commentary, prompts, a verse mapping guide page, and several journal pages. You can write on the pdf, or you can use your own notebook to copy the information and answers into. I usually use a notebook to copy verses, use the verse mapping tool as a guide for keeping your notes organized. Then I journal the prompts with the responses. Sometimes I use an app like Evernote to record all the entries I want to keep on my laptop. I love having a library of journals I can return to. How you interact will really be up to you. It is encouraged to read through all of the pages in order while having your bible, and your note taking tools ready.
